GALLOWAY!

We went to Galloway on Sunday so Bekah could sind her VBS songs for the entire church with the children. Since Galloway is on TV, we also recorded it. Bekah was so proud of herself when she watched it back. She said, "Look I'm on TV!" Also, Cate was hilarious. She was soooo animated!!

RAPIDS!

Saturday we went to Rapids on the Reservoir. Trey's work had an employees party there and the Guests met us there. We had so much fun with them! Mary Bratton and Bekah had the best time together and Beau and Nate had a great time too! Mary Bratton even went down the BIG waterslide with Renee. Bekah and I were on the way to the top when she got scared and we had to go back down. OF course that didn't stop me from going down the waterslide. Do you know how long it has been since I have gone down a waterslide??? Trey went down it too! We had a nice long day there and it was fun to be with Tal and Renee! Mary Bratton has no fear of the water now. Poor Bekah wouldn't even go in the lazy river. She just wanted to stay in the baby area but it was still a lot of fun!! I have hope though.. Renee said Mary Bratton just started going under water a few weeks ago. Nate though has no fear. He and Beau had a great time together in the water.

Friday night with the Milans

Friday night we went to eat at Beef O'bradeys with the Milans. I was surprised at how good it was.. it was cheap and kid friendly and that is always a plus! We had a great time. Then we went to Cold Stone and we ran into the Copelands - Edward, Debbie, Julianna and Elizabeth. Aren't they cute? Also, I couldn't find any photos of Juicy, Courtney??? Where are they???

NATE LOVES ICE CREAM!

Nate loves him some ice cream!! He took that spoon and went to town last night! What a cutie pie! I can't believe he will be a year next month. And by the way ... the tubes have really worked. He is a different baby! He is so happy and he feels so good. AMAZING!

Inky the clown at Galloway

Last night we went to Galloway for Wednesday night supper. They had Inky the clown and the kids got to sing all their VBS songs they learned. Bekah and Cate had a lot of fun together. They both danced and had an awesome time. Even Nate had some fun. Kim does such a great job with the children's ministry. They all had such a great time. And Bekah wasn't even afraid of Inky the clown. She raised her hand everytime Inky asked for a volunteer!!

Vacation Bible School

Look at Bekah so proud of her t-shirt. My sweet sister 'n law, Kim, is the director of children ministries at Galloway. She invited Bekah to their VBS. Bekah went to Covenant's earlier this summer. She had so much fun so she was extra excited about Galloway b/c she kind of knew what to expect. She was very proud of her tshirt and was showing it off this morning. She just had to wear her boots b/c the theme is cowboy. She came home from VBS the other day saying, "Howdy Partner." And she also told me that "God is real." I just can't believe she is such a big girl!!

Fire damages Kate's house

Dorothy Singleton, my dear friend from work, her daughter Kate's house caught on fire Friday night. There was an awful thunderstorm that came through Bryam and the firemen think that the house may have been hit by lightning. According to them, the fire was electrical in origin, but probably, will never be able to tell exactly what caused it. The outside of the house looks fine. Some of the contents may be able to be cleaned, they just don't know yet. Kate and her daughter (who is 14 months) were on their way to Dorothy's house when the fire started. Thankfully nobody was home. Even their dog was already at Dorothy's. So they are so grateful it was just stuff that got damaged.. nobody was hurt!

NIVEN'S 18!!

Niven turned 18 Sunday and guess what? He wasn't even kicked out of the house! HAHA! We celebrated with cake and we met them at Newk's after church. Niven is going to Mississippi College next month. We are very proud of him! And yes, Bekah did hop in the pool with her clothes on. I was not very happy about that... oh well.
