Sunday

Sunday Bekah decided she wanted to ride her bike to Mumu's house. Since it's a short walk, I decided to pull Nate along in the wagon. They also wanted Lulu to go with us - poor Sadie - she's just too much to handle on these walks (But don't feel sorry for her b/c she is my running partner)
We left Trey at home watching basketball and washing clothes. While Nate held Lulu's leash - I know it is pink - I couldn't help myself.
We walked/rode on down to Mumu's and picked her up and we continued our walk. It really was such a relaxing day especially since we spend all day Saturday cleaning the house (Spring Fever, anyone?).
I have to say though - I just can't get over Bekah - she is growing up too fast. She kept saying as I tried to push her bike along, "No mama, I can do it by myself." I so wanted to help her - she just is getting so independent! I can't believe how fast it's going by!!

Broadstreet

After church we met Becky, Earl and Kelci at Broadstreet. We ran into the Trotters. Bekah and May May are so cute together. Earlier during the church service - the older children were singing in front of the congregation. Before I knew it, Bekah ran up and stood with all the big kids and then May May ran up there too. It was so cute b/c they just stood there together. We are certainly going to miss the Trotters - they move to Fairhope in May! :(

Who does Nate look like?

So on the way home Nate fell asleep and I just had to take this photo b/c he looks so much like Trey when he is napping!! Such a little angel! He just couldn't stay awake!

Waffle House

Bekah woke up Saturday morning and wanted to go to Waffle House. We didn't argue! I know it's crazy for me to take photos of our Wafflehouse experience but it was such a nice family outing. And please excuse my appearance - give me a break - I had just run 18 miles!! HAHA!

How funny is this??

Many of you know I work at the Medical Center in the Public Affairs Division. I have been here 3 1/2 years. I have seen some interesting things but I have never experienced this before. I accompanied a Clarion Ledger photographer this morning to take some photos of a colonectomy. I didn't realize I would have to dress in scrubbs and be in the surgery room. That was crazy! I do not know how these doctors and nurses do what they do. I had a hard time eating lunch and I will definitely stay away from sausage for a while!! HAHA! Anyway, the photographer got a photo of me and sent it to me so I just had to post it!! Isn't this hilarious??

Easter lunch

Trey's Aunt Susan had the whole family over for Easter lunch. We enjoyed seeing everybody! I was tending to poor Nate (look at that bump on his head) the whole time so I didn't get many photos of the family. We still had a great visit with everybody! Bekah adores her cousin Cherry. She is a senior in high school and is AWESOME with kids. Bekah had the best time with her! Thanks Susan for having us!

Easter eggs

The Easter bunny left eggs for Bekah and Nate to hunt at Grammy's house. Nate wasn't really interested. So I put him in the car - guess I thought since I was right by him he would be fine not strapped in ... I was wrong - a momentary lapse in judgement and he fell flat on his face. I'll show you his bump on his head in a second. Before that happened - Bekah was having so much fun filling her basket full of Easter eggs! I gave Nate his basket and he threw it on the ground. Bekah was very happy to see Grammy - she flew in from Colorado the night before.

Easter morning

Easter morning we woke up to see what the Easter bunny left for Bekah and Nate!

More photos

I got a few more photos of my babies before we left to go back to Grammy's house. Lulu was in heaven b/c she went with us everywhere.
I have to say we had such a great time with Becca, JJ, Big Dad and Susie before we heard the tragic news. I spoke with JJ before I posted these photos to make sure they wouldn't mind if we put some of these photos on the blog. Trey is right now in the sky headed to North Carolina to be with his brother and Becca. Our thoughts are with you right now! We love you Becca and JJ!

The hunt..

Becca was sweet enough to get these photos so I could help Nate out with the hunt. He obviously was not at all impressed with the eggs. He just looked at the eggs. But my Bekah - I don't know what happened - she dashed for all the eggs. I've never seen anything like it. She was going at it. As a matter of fact - she got so many eggs she won a prize - a jewelry kit! She was so proud of herself!
