HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY!

We spent Memorial Day with Trey, Kim, Austin, Cate and Kelci. We went over to Mom and Earl's (they are in Alaska!) to swim. It was a blast! A couple of these photos were taken a couple of weeks ago when Cate and Bekah went swimming. Cate absolutely loves the water! Bekah is not as crazy about being in the pool but we are working on it! Nate LOVES the water too!

Crissie's Bachelorette Party!!

I flew into Houston Saturday night for Crissie's Bachelorette Party!! I haven't seen Crissie for almost 3 years! She moved to Houston and met Winston (they are getting married this weekend!) I flew into town and Crissie, her mom and her sister, Melanie, picked me up at the airport. We immediately drove to Lake Charles to go to the casino! It was such a blast. We made sweet, conservative Crissie wear all this stuff we bought her and she was such a good sport and kept it on all night! I lost $60 at the casino! :( Oh well, i just say it wsa $60 worth of fun! But the bachelorette WON over $100 playing blackjack. We didn't get in 'til 3 a.m. and let me tell you I am not used to that! But we had to drive back to Houston b/c I had a 10: 30 a.m. flight! 3 hours of sleep! It was all worth it! Now this weekend the whole family is driving to Houston for her wedding. Crissie is getting married on what will be Trey and my six year anniversary! We are very excited to celebrate our anniversary at her wedding!! WOOHOO!

TEAM in TRAINING!

TEAM IN TRAINING UPDATE:
Wow, in just a few weeks, you have given $2,390-- (almost halfway there) to the TNT Leukemia run and I wanted to let everyone know that training is in full swing. I have been running at least 4 to 5 miles/ four to five times a week and about 6 to 7 miles on Saturdays. This Saturday will be our first TNT run. We will all meet to run 4 miles, but some will run longer.
So far some of you have given me the names of some very special people who I will add to my jersey when I run the marathon in Chicago.
Kathy Harris, an employee at UMC: Her aunt just found out she has leukemia. Her name is Frances Williamson.
Katherine Channell: her friend died from Hodgkin’s disease. Her name was Joan Anderson
Suzanne Mackey Frye: her friend, Georgia Blouin just passed away last year from lymphoma.
If you have anybody you want to add to this list, please let me know!! Even if you don't decide to donate and still want me to run for someone.. just let me know and I will add their name to my jersey.

Chad and Jana's

Jana and Chad had us over for dinner last night. It was so nice. They cooked duck, turkey and pork.. ummmmm good. Carrie and Mike and Alexa Kate, Leslie and Travis and Nicole, Niles and Emily were all there. Carrie is having a baby in August so she wouldn't let me take a photo of her. But she looks great! Anyway, a good time was had by all. We've not all been together since Chad and Jana were married in February!

MARY BRATTON TURNS 4!

Well actually Mary Bratton turned four back in February but due to bad weather her bday party was postponed a couple of months. They had such a good time riding horses at the Ag Museum! Look at our big girls riding horses!!

Cate's Gymnastics

Saturday morning Cate had her gymnastics program. She did awesome! She takes at Courthouse Gymnastics. Do you believe the guy who taught me when I was in grade school is still teaching?! We went and ate at Cracker Barrell and ate a big breakfast after Cate's performance!
