Pizza Inn!

Last nite we went and ate at Pizza Inn. Courtney, Lynn and I are going to start Weight Watchers on Friday so Court and I decided we w0uld have one last pizza party before we cheat on our diets!! Look at Nate showing how much food he can eat! Isn't that a cool looking fish balloon?? I thought so. So did Bekah! Miriam wasn't too interested in the balloon animals. Isn't Liv a cutie pie? They call her "Juicy" at school!! HAHA! Mom decided to go with us and yes, she was out running right after dinner! I wasn't so disciplined but I did run this morning!

My little man!

I just had to post these photos of my little man. Look how big he is getting. I just can't believe how fast time is flying!! He turns a year old August 24. Can y'all remember this time last year how miserable I was! Oh that was horrible but it was all worth the gift God gave us!! SO SWEET!

Barbara's retirement!

Let me just say that last week was SOOOOO busy! My boss, Barbara Austin, is retiring after 40 years as director of the Public Affairs division here at the Medical Center. She is a pretty much a walking history book of UMC. So last week there were loads of events in her honor. One event was at the Fairview Inn (bed and breakfast). Dr. Jones, vice chancellor, hosted the event and it was just for our office. We had a blast. As we drove up to the Fairview, we saw this man and his wife getting his bags out of his car. Trey said, "Do you know who that is?" I said, "No." He goes, "You're kidding, right?" I said, "No, I have no clue." He said, "It's Archie Manning, (choice words that I refuse to repeat.)" He does look familiar! HAHA.. i'm so clueless - at least I can admit it!! The Mannings were in town for an event on Saturday night to raise money for the Children's Hospital. I took photos at the event and I even got a photo of Eli and Archie and I knew who they were! Can you believe it? I'll post those later!

Happy Father's Day!

Sunday after church we met mom and Earl at Roosters. A new restaurant is opening in Jackson called the Auditorium by the guy who owns Roosters and he tries out his recipes for the new restaurant on Sundays. It was great!

Sat. Nite cook out

We cooked out Saturday night.. or should I say Big Dad and Trey did the cooking. Earl stopped by as well. Don't ask me why Bekah was wearing these gloves.. I have no clue.. she said her hands were cold!

TEAM IN TRAINING

Saturday morning we ran 8 miles with Team in Training. Well it was actually only supposed to be 6 miles but Kim and Trey convinced me to go 8! And I did it. The other girl in the photo with the guy is the other Team in Training coach. Her name is Alisha. She is training for an ironman triathlon! It was a great run though! We started at 6 a.m. so it wasn't as hot as last week. Courtney was already gone when I took these photos!!! BUT SHE WAS THERE WITH BELLS ON!!!

Thai House

Big Dad came in town this weekend for Father's Day. We had a great time. This was Friday night at the Thai House. This is an awesome restaurant that used to be located in South Jackson. They moved locations and are now in the old Moe's Location across from Cherokee. Other than Nate being a little grumpy.. we had a great time!

HAPPY 30th BIRTHDAY JJ!

I just want to say that JJ turned 30 on Thursday! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JJ! WE LOVE AND MISS YOU!!

Happy Birthday Earl!

Saturday nite we met Earl and Becky and Earl's kids (Tressa and Leslyn) at the Cock of the Walk for his birthday. The old man turned 69! Earl walked in the restaurant with this old wig on... Nate did not like that wig but Bekah and Trey sure did! Oh and notice Trey's shirt.. yes, he wore it. Nice. Bekah enjoyed feeding the ducks and the geese with Kelci. Oh and we finally got a photo of mom with her eyes open!
