The Chicago trip began at the Jackson airport on Friday around 11:45 a.m. First, they couldn't find my name on the flight. I immediately panicked and called my brother who was already in Chicago. He calmed me down and they eventually found my name. That was my first experience with Natalie who is campaign coordinator of the TNT. She traveled with us and was my roommate and the greatest encourager! She is right next to me in the group photo. Do you believe her daughter is 20 years old??? Anyway, she was so sweet and helpful and we had a great time together. Another crazy thing happened before we left. See the purple singlet Matt Clem is wearing in the middle of the group photo. That is actually a womens singlet. They had women singlets for some of the men and had them overnighted to the hotel on Saturday. Isn't that crazy?? It seemed like one thing after another even from the beginning.. And not to mention that the guy sitting beside Natalie on the plane - he watched porn on his I-pod the entire flight!! We were all dying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
