So right before the parade started, JJ, Becca, Trey and I joined volunteers to do the "City Sweep." This is where we walk the whole parade and collect money for the Children's Hospital. We walk and yell, "Buck for luck, support the Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital." It was so crowded this year because it was just such a beautiful day. We had a great time. As you can see, Nate and Bekah slept through the entire walk. JJ strolled them the whole way. It was a lot of fun. Patrice, Mike and her son Aiden walked with us and collected money. We work together! Love Patrice. And there is one photo of Tena Mckenzie. She is associate director of public affairs and in director of the Children's Hospital. She pretty much plans the parade. After the "City Sweep," we met up with Grammy and Bill who had a great spot at the parade. We sat for a little while and watched the parade but we ended up going back over to the children's section to meet up with Grammy and Bill. Bekah saw the Elvis thing which she called a monster. She cried when she saw him but when we got home, she was so obsessed with the photo of the weird looking Elvis. She kept on grabbing my camera and asking to see the Elvis picture. And Nate - he was a little angel! He didn't cry at all! What a cutie pie! It was a lot of fun and we raised a lot of money for the hospital.
