PLAY DATE AT COURT'S!

Courtney had a play date on Sunday afternoon. We had a great time as usual!!

Meet Princess Sadie!

This is Princess Sadie. We were just going to see if Petsmart had any dogs for adoption on Saturday. Bekah wanted to look and Lulu just seemed so sad. So we went and the animal rescue league was there. They were unloading some of the dogs. They only had puppies and a 6 month old male lab. We were looking for an older female dog. Trey said no puppies. Then this dog jumped out of the front seat. We all fell in love with her! First Bekah named her Princess and then we thought Sadie would be a cute name.. So meet Princess Sadie.. Sadie for short. Lulu seems to be "okay" with her. She is a very sweet dog , boxer mix. Bekah loves her and Sadie seems very protective of Nate. Also, I took her running with me and she loves to run. I know it seems fast since Happy just died, but we were all just so sad. Our spirits are lifting now. She'll of course have a lot to live up to but she seems to be adjusting to her new home just fine! She likes to chase squirrels and she even discovered a snake in the backyard! When we brought her home, Bekah led her from room to room by her collar.. it was so cute!

Friday nite!

We went over to Courtney's Friday night for dinner. Look how much Miriam and Bekah look alike.. It is crazy. People always want to know if they are sisters! They sure look like it.. and look at Nate and Liv.. they are BFF! OH and by the way, NATE is in to EVERYTHING.. he is crawling and he is a fast little booger! He gets baptized this Sunday.

BALLET

First let me just say that this week has been really tough so last night was really a great night!

Bekah's ballet class had their first open observation night for parents. Bekah looked so cute but I must say she was trying to show off a little for Hudson. I had to go take photos at an event right after this so Story and Hudson came to pick up Trey, Bekah and Nate from ballet. But let me tell you, Bekah got in trouble by her teacher!! She wasn't listening!! YIKES. Ummmmmmm.. i wonder where she gets that from.

She ended up doing great. If you are wondering why she doesn't have her ballet shoes on.. well we've lost them and so we are going to have to go buy another pair! Oh well! Enjoy these photos!! And yes, Trey is doing good.. i know he doesn't look like he is happy in this photo but believe me, he isn't in as much pain as he has been! He is doing great.

HAPPY - May 2001 - April 24, 2007

Our sweet Happy passed away in my arms last night. We knew something wasn't right when we tried to call her to come inside. She was all the way in the very back of the yard and wouldn't move. I picked her up and put her in my lap and she passed away peacefully. It was a very very sad experience. We loved Happy very much. She was our "first born." We will miss her terribly because she brought such joy to our lives.

Trey's surgery

Trey had back surgery today. He is in rm 315 at River Oaks but will be released shortly. Thankfully everything went great. He is resting comfortably. He will be home tonight! Thanks for all of your prayers!!

I wanted to add a pic of Trey right before his surgery.. He was such a good sport. He couldn't even lay down b/c he was in such pain but he was in very good spirits. Now he is doing great, just waiting for the soreness to go away. Everybody has been so sweet, bringing us tons of food. We appreciate all your kindness!!

Kid's Fest!

What a day! We all went to Kid's Fest in Ridgeland today. And yes, Trey insisted he go. I just want to make that clear! Anyway, we met Courtney and Candy and Story. We had a really good time. Bekah, of course, was frightened of all the characters but she actually spoke to Inky the clown. I was impressed. She saw an owl and rode some rides. There was quite a bit to do. I think she really enjoyed singing on stage with Hudson.. It looks like we have a future American Idol on our hands!! :) Nate had a good time too!
