We met the Guests at Keifers last nite then all the girls went to ANNIE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We had such a great time. When we sat down in our seats, I looked behind us and there sat Lee, Harper and Sara!! That was a nice surprise! The show was sold out! It was so fun (it was a little long) But it still was so much fun to be with Renee and Mary Bratton.
Funny Annie story: I'll never forget I was 8 years old and it was the first time I went to Strong River Camp. I remember I loved Annie so much that I lied to some of the other campers and told them I was going to try out for Annie, the play. So then I belted out, "MAYBE FAR AWAY..." singing through my nose. I really thought I sounded good and all the people around me told me I sounded just like Annie. Isn't that HILARIOUS???? Those campers and counselars I told - you know they were just being sweet!! AWE!! I really thought I could sing.. so much so that I took voice lessons and sang in front of several people at a recital - it was really sad. Why didn't my momma tell me I couldn't sing???? Oh well!!
I added some more photos .. I stole them from Renee's blog!! You took some great photos!!

We had sooo much fun!! Still laughing thinking about it all! Love y'all so much!! I just posted the pictures on my blog!
And the 'MAYBE' song at camp .... Oh my goodness - that was the funniest thing I've ever heard when Jenny told that story in the car and started singing.... I could hardly breathe!!
You need to put a video clip on the blog of you singing MAYBE like you sang to your friends at camp!
I LOVE IT!!! Wish us luck tonight that Miriam and Selah make it through it!
ok, but what if American Idol had been around at the time of your singing debut? What would Simon say?
That might be the sweetest picture of Nate I have ever seen.
That is me driving home ASLEEP at 11:00 when Annie was over!
Okay I am sooooo cracking up right now!!! I can just picture you now at Strong River belting out that song...that is FREAKING hilarious!!! And it reminds me of when I was 8 years old and obsessed with Annie, I loved her hair, so I talked my mom into letting me get a perm just like hers. Literally I had the same haircut as her for my entire 3rd grade year. We moved to Jackson midway through that haircut and lets just say it did not go over as well as it did when I lived in Grenada! New girl was a bust!!
okay, I just re read it again and I am still cracking up!!! Singing through your nose, I can almost hear it now!! Jenny, this is priceless information!!! ha!
Happy Birthday today!!!!!!
I'm SO jealous!!!!!! Sounds like you guys had the BEST time!
