I usually run alone in races. Right before the race started - I spotted Renee and Tal (he did the full marathon) I screamed, "RENEE!!" We started the race together. I wasn't really expecting us to race together - I didn't know if we would be able to keep up with each other. But we ended up running the entire race together and it was FABULOUS. We had so much fun running together. It really made the time go by so much faster. We ran an average of a 9.24 minute pace which was pretty incredible for the both of us. We encouraged each other the entire way and it was AWESOME. I started singing, "We're bringing sexy back" at mile 12 - I think that really helped us get thru that last mile -- HAHA... I could see it in Renee's eyes - Shut it. It was really so much fun running with Renee. And if you can believe it - we really didn't talk the whole way! We came in at the finish line holding our hands up together!! I love you Renee!!!!!!!!!!! YOU DID AWESOME. This was her first half marathon and I am so proud of her!!!!!!!! We finished 13.1 miles in 2 hours and five minutes!!

Jenny - so glad that we ran together! I could have taken 'Sexy Back' at mile 1 thru 11.5 - but that last mile and 1/2 about killed me.
we were running and I would hear Jenny and think she was out of breath or mubling something and i would turn my music down and she would be singing 'Come on Eileen'
We had so much fun!! So glad we ended up running together!!! It was so much fun ( except the last mile and 1/2 - that was no longer fun)
YEAH!!!! I too am so proud of my friends!!! Way to go!! You keep amazing me! And I know it was so much more fun to have Renee with you!! Congrats!!!!! :) Lisa
