This weekend is Jana and Chad's wedding. They are dear friends of ours and we are so happy for them. Last nite, I went to a lingerie shower for Jana - we had a blast. A little something we learned about Chad. He has given his stem cells to 2 people .. that means he has been a match to 2 people which is very rare - so he has saved the lives of 2 people. Anyway, the first person he donated his stem cells to contacted him to thank him for saving her life. He got letters from her children and her husband. Well they have never met in person and the woman lives in Arizona. She and her husband are coming to the wedding! Isn't that amazing???? It is going to be an awesome reunion.
We had a good time at the shower. I, of course, gave her something practical. But she got her fair share of "naughty" items. I hate to say, those items will likely be put up in the attic in the years to come! HAHA.. maybe not!
