Introducing .. Chad and Jana Manlove

The wedding was beautiful. The Woodruff clan all made it to the wedding and when I got there, I realized we might should have left Nate with Mumu. Oh well. He wasn't that bad, just was a little uncomfortable. So we took him to Mumu's after the wedding before we headed to the reception where Bekah danced the night away. She loved Jana's shoes and wanted to dance with her. Well, Jennifer and Josh Grisham came in town for the wedding and Jennifer danced with Bekah most of the nite.. when we left, Bekah was calling Jennifer her new best friend. It was very cute. Chad's brother made a great toast to Chad and Jana during the reception! What a wonderful weekend! We wish the best of luck to Jana and Chad!!

REHEARSAL DINNER!

What a fun weekend we had! These are pics from Jana and Chad's rehearsal dinner! You can tell who belongs to who! The woman in the photo with Chad and Jana in the pink shirt and glasses is Cindy. They met for the first time at the rehearsal dinner. This is the woman who Chad gave his stem cells to.. it was very touching that she and her husband came all the way to Mississippi from Arizona.

Before I post the photos from Jana and Chad's wedding, I wanted to post a couple of photos from Saturday. Courtney came over and helped me clean out my closets b/c we are getting ready to put our house up for sale. So we had all the kids over and while we cleaned, Miriam and Bekah played dress up and Liv and Nate hung in there!!

Jana's shower!

This weekend is Jana and Chad's wedding. They are dear friends of ours and we are so happy for them. Last nite, I went to a lingerie shower for Jana - we had a blast. A little something we learned about Chad. He has given his stem cells to 2 people .. that means he has been a match to 2 people which is very rare - so he has saved the lives of 2 people. Anyway, the first person he donated his stem cells to contacted him to thank him for saving her life. He got letters from her children and her husband. Well they have never met in person and the woman lives in Arizona. She and her husband are coming to the wedding! Isn't that amazing???? It is going to be an awesome reunion.

We had a good time at the shower. I, of course, gave her something practical. But she got her fair share of "naughty" items. I hate to say, those items will likely be put up in the attic in the years to come! HAHA.. maybe not!

Feb. 18

We went out to dinner Sunday nite - another birthday dinner because Earl had been sick and couldn't go last week. So they took us to Macaroni Grill. Niven is on break from school so he came with his girlfriend Owen. WE had a fun nite!

Good bye Ms Pharaah :(

Ms Pharaah was Bekah's teacher at her old school. She is moving to North Carolina and Story had a little farewell get together Sunday afternoon. We love Ms Pharaah and will miss her - she taught Bekah so much!

Saturday night I took photos for the Northside Sun at an event and Trey and Kim kept Nate and Bekah for me. Bekah was originally supposed to spend the night but she chickened out! Maybe next time!
