ROCK STAR

For Bekah's "real" birthday Kelci and I took Bekah and Cate (her cousin) to Libby Lu. It is located in Belk and it has Bekah's name written all over it. She seriously thought she was in heaven!! They got rock n roll makeovers with rock and roll hair styles and fingernail polish! It was so funny. They really had the best time. And after it was over, she got to sing her favorite Hannah Montana song in front of the store with her own back up singers!!! Cate was a little shy at first but she broke out of her shyness when she saw that Bekah was having so much fun singing in front of everybody. Bekah really does think she is a rock star!! After this we paraded around the mall so that everybody could see them and we went on the little train ride in the mall. We then went to Bekah's favorite restaurant (Chick-fil-a) and to see the movie "Kit Kitridge." What a day!! It really was a perfect day for her - I must say! I recorded her singing with Cate and the backup singers but my thumb was over the sound - oh well - it's still funny to watch.

Good Morning Birthday Girl!

We took Bekah to Primos for her birthday breakfast Saturday! She was in such a silly mood!!

HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!!!!!!!!!!

That night we went to the Balloon Glow in Ridgeland. Mom has been calling me every day for the last 2 weeks to make sure we would take her - so even though we were REALLY tired - we decided we would go - it was worth it! The kids had a blast and it wasn't terribly hot so we put up with the heat. Nate thought the balloons were very cool. Bekah did not because she was so worried about the fireworks. She hates fireworks - we had to leave before they started! But the glow sticks made her happy so we got to stay a little while longer. It was a great night!

July 4th

July 4th we spent the day at Mom and Earl's. It was a blast. Trey B. cooked our hamburgers and hotdogs while mom cooked up some baked beans and Kelci made the best brownies! Austin had just gotten home from Strong River Camp - he had been at their 2 week session - so we think he might have been a little sad so we tried to cheer him up! Unfortunately Earl had just gotten home from the hospital - he had to have some minor surgery so he was knocked out. It was still a lot of FUN!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BEKAH!!!! 5 years old!!

Before I post any photos from this wonderful holiday weekend - I want to say Happy Birthday to my sweet baby. I can't believe it was five years ago yesterday that God gave me this gift. She is really such an angel - most of the time :) ! She has such a caring spirit and I am so grateful for her - and what a personality!! She literally thinks she is a "ROCK STAR!" Happy Birthday baby girl!!
