Christ United 5K

Saturday morning we all participated in the Christ United 5K and one-mile fun run. Mom, Trey W., and me ran the 5K! Yes, Trey ran it and he did so good!! I'm very proud. Patrice was also there - this was her first time to do a 5K - she has been training with Fleet Feet. She did awesome too! Mom won the senior masters trophy!! Way to go mom! Kelci babysat Nate and Bekah while we ran. Bekah ran the one-mile fun run - one minute faster than her previous run!! We all had a really great time Saturday morning!! It was a little humid though.. yuck!

The Trotters Goodbye party ----WHAAAAAAAAA!

Some of the members of our church threw Lisa and McLean Trotter a going away party Friday night. They are moving to Fairhope and we are all just so sad to see them go. We are truly going to miss them. When we first joined the church - they were in our Sunday School class. At one point we had four couples in our Sunday School class living on St. Ann street! We called our duplex the big green monster. It was so much fun living in Belhaven - we really have great memories of that first year we were married and our Sunday school class - i think it was called the Twenty somethings.. Of course, we had to change that name eventually. Everyone on that street moved and the Trotters were the last ones standing!! We are going to miss you LISA AND MCLEAN!!!!!!!!! WE LOVE YOU!!

Cary and Aaron

Saturday night Kim and Trey hosted an engagement party for Kim's sister Cary and her fiance, Aaron. Cary and Aaron flew in from Chicago and his family flew in from Pennsylvania. It was a lot of FUN!! We also got to meet Kim's brother's (Alan) new wife too. GOOD FOOD - good times!! HAHAHA!! A side note: Look at Austin - he turned 12 on Friday - I CAN NOT BELIEVE THAT!! I really can't.

The Res!

It was such a beautiful day Saturday - Trey and I took the kids to the reservoir. We really had the best time - it was a PERFECT day!! We brought a big ball, frisbe and bubbles - it all made for a great time... we need to bring a kite next time though!

Happy Birthday Cecilia!!

We went to Cecilia's birthday party Saturday at Chuck-E-Cheese. Cecilia is in Bekah's class at Cobblestone. At first Bekah DID NOT want to go inside b/c she HATES characters. When she saw Chuck - she held on to me with a death grip. But as soon as he started leaving - she waved to him. Will she ever be over this fear?? I guess I don't blame her - it is a big rat after all!

Broadstreet

We met the Milans at Broadstreet Friday night. I only got 2 really good photos but we still had a great time!! Look at Juicy - she's a diva! And when and how am I going to get Nate off the PACI?? I dread the day........

I cannot talk about this...

So I cannot believe this.. Bekah is graduating to big school. She starts Kindergarten next August - she is going to Christ Covenant and we are very excited. At her school now (Cobblestone) - they have graduation. Here is her sweet photo! Is she not the cutest?? I debated on whether or not to get the photo of her in her cap and gown or in the one in her regular clothes. I am pleased with my decision!! Now below is Nate's class. Because Nate REFUSED to take a photo by himself. I could only buy the group shot! Aren't those babies darling??? Look at the Juice and Haley!!

Monday night

On Monday night - Crissie, Winston and Chris stayed with us. They were driving from Nashville to Houston so they made a stop in Jackson. We called Steve to meet us at Amerigo. Steve and Crissie were big buddies when she lived here. It also happened to be Steve's birthday! It was a fun time but the kids were a little wild. Bekah insisted on driving to the restaurant with Crissie. When she got there - she had all this make-up on! It was funny! But I didn't get any photos of Chris - oh well!
