My sweet babies!

I wanted to share some of these photos I took of Bekah and Nate playing the other day. It was just so sweet how they interact. Bekah mothers him and he adores his Big Sis! We are very blessed!!

Happy Birthday Lexie!

We celebrated Lexie's 4th birthday at Chuck-E-Cheese on Sunday. Lexie is in Bekah's class at Cobblestone. She is such a sweet girl! Bekah had a great time except when Chuck-E came out. Notice how she is hiding underneath the table b/c she didn't want him to come near her! But Nate loved it!! Once Chuck-E left.. Bekah was fine and had a great time!

Adelle's baby shower!

Saturday we went to a shower in honor of my sweet cousin Adelle. She is having a little girl, due in October. We are so excited for her. We had a great time at the shower. My cousins, Barbara and Ashley were there. I got a photo of mom and her two nieces : Barbara and Lauren (Adelle's mom) Yes, nieces.. even though mom is only a couple of years older than them .. they love to rub it in! My mamaw was pregnant with my mom at my Aunt Margie's wedding!! I loved seeing them! And Adelle looks so cute! Kathryn, my other cousin, is also prego. She is due Sept. 13 so she couldn't be here. She is also having a little girl! We are going to have so many babies at our family get togethers now!!

N'hood night out!

We had our neighborhood night out last night. It was so HOT and it was election night so we didn't have that great of a turn out. But that did not stop Bekah and Nate from having a blast. It was in the parking lot of the Colonial Country Club and they turned the music up loud! Okay so I don't know where Bekah gets her rhythym from - most of you who know us - know she didn't get it from Trey or me! But let me tell you who danced the whole night! She was out there doing the electric slide. Some neighbors were teaching her how to boogie! And then she started dancing with one of the cops! I didn't get a real good photo of that, but I had to give u a visual. And she was striking a pose.. I don't know where she learned that - seriously what in the world? Our dear friends Michael and Betsy Denny were there with their sons Miles and Payton. We met some new neighbors as well! We were all sweating. Look how wet Payton's hair was. And guess what Nate was doing.. yep.. eating.. He is a little piggy! Really, I have never seen a baby eat as much as he does. He was pigging out on some pizza last night! And then there is the balloon man.. I can't talk about how sweet he was! He was very proud that he could make spider man balloons and the kids loved it! Great night out!

BONEFISH

WE had so much fun Saturday night!! We went to Bonefish Grill and had the best time! We felt weird without kids but what a blast. The family that sat behind us was having a major fight and that of course made us want to know what was going on!! If you could just imagine us all sitting there straining to hear what this family was mad about.

Ms Rini

We brought Bekah and Nate to Courtney and Stu's Saturday night. Ms Rini kept all of the kids Saturday night so we could have a nice evening with the Milans!! Ms Rini works at Cobblestone.. we absolutely ADORE her.. really she is the SWEETEST! She gave Bekah a gift certificate to Libby Lu for her bday. And she came to Bekah's dance recital. I just can't tell you how much Courtney and I both love her. She absolutely loves our kids!! And the kids absolutely love her!!!

ZOO DAY

Saturday while I was recovering from my 14 mile run and after having strep throat that took me out of work on Thursday and Friday... Trey took Bekah to the zoo with Niles and his daughter Emily. I gave Trey the camera and told him to make me proud.. HE DID! It looks like they had a blast. It was so hot.. I don't know how they stood it. Thank goodness we didn't take Nate out there. He was at home napping with me! It didn't look like Bekah and Emily minded the heat though. They cooled off in the little water area of the zoo. Plus I think it helped that it was ice cream safari day!! They got to have all the ice cream they could stand! And no that is not a photo of Trey... it's just an ape (oops I mean an orangutan)!! HAHA.. I'm sorry, I just had to do it!!
